Chlamydia is the most common STD worldwide. In the U.S. there are 4-8 million new cases of chlamydia each year.

Gonorrhea is the second most common STD reported in the U.S. The incidence of Gonorrhea is most prevalent amongst those aged 20-24.

Gardnerella is the most common bacterial infection worldwide. Gardnerella is responsible for bacterial vaginosis (BV). BV is the leading cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharges in females aged between 15 and 44.

70 million people have been infected with H.I.V since the beginning of the epidemic in 1981. Today 60% of people do not know their status.

Herpes Simplex I most commonly causes cold sores and genital herpes. 80% of the population has herpes simplex I. It causes 40% of genital herpes cases.

Herpes Simplex II: 11% of the global population has herpes simplex II. Herpes can be passed through saliva and skin to skin contact. The majority of herpes I and II infections are symptomless.

Syphilis is the most common STD among gay and bisexual men. There has been a 14% increase in the global incidence of syphilis since 2014.

Trichomoniasis is more common in women and WSW (women who have sex with women) than men. 70% of people who have trichomoniasis will not display symptoms.

Why do I need to activate my test?

Activating the test connects you to the unique alphanumeric barcode within your test kit. The laboratory cannot process your sample if the test kit is not activated and linked to you.

Are there medical professionals involved in the process?

We have a team of physicians who will review your order and results. Our nursing team is on standby throughout the testing process and, if you test positive, you will receive a call to discuss your results and treatment options.

When should I collect and return my sample?

Please ensure that the sample is collected before 9am and returned immediately using the carrier method provided within the test kit. Each test includes a prepaid shipping envelope to return your samples to the laboratory.

Please do not collect or return samples on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

How is my privacy protected?

Keeping your data secure is important to us. All data is completely anonymized to ensure that your privacy is maintained throughout the process. We will not share your information with any third party.

All samples are disposed of following analysis.
